“Growing up on the edge of the Brazilian Amazon, I saw the devastating effects of deforestation firsthand, which sparked my passion for addressing the climate crisis. Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege to work with leading companies like SAP, Delivery Hero, and innovative startups such as Finiata and Plan A, gaining valuable experience in B2B product management, AI, and sustainability. This led me to found Muvuca Solutions, which is focused on building AI-based, scalable solutions to help businesses and consumers reduce and improve their environmental and social impact.”

Why “Muvuca”?
Inspired by nature and learning from traditional knowledge of indigenous peoples, Muvuca refers to a reforestation technique originated in Brazil where diverse native seeds are sown together across degraded lands (learn more here). In Brazilian Portuguese, “muvuca” means “crowd” or “mix”, perfectly capturing the method’s emphasis on biodiversity as various plant species grow together.
This approach mimics natural forest regeneration processes, creating self-sustaining ecosystems that foster long-term environmental and social sustainability.
